Coming from a meager background and now having turned her life into a success story, Bettye understands the challenges, obstacles and hinderances one can encounter on the road to success.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio/Television Communications from Arkansas State University and a Master of Arts in Mass Communications. She has held positions as Operations Manager, Professional Voice Talent, Writer/Producer/Editor and Host for Christian Radio and Television. Additionally, she’s held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors for a charter school. Bettye is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Change-A-Life Foundation and NewLife Productions. She is a dynamic sought after Emcee and Facilitator.
A Communications and Relationship Strategist/Expert, Bettye is the co-host of The Virtuous Woman Literary Corner Podcast, Life Issues Coach for Warren Village in Denver, Colorado and co-founder of The Virtuous Woman Tour. She also writes a national column on Love and Money for www.blackelpaso.com and Mahogany Butterfly. She is a well known motivational speaker and team expert for www.answers4women.com and www.luvandmoney.com. She is the author of Love: The Greatest Choice of All and For the Love of Beulah- Finding Your Purpose in Life.
Her journey through life says it all. Having also a background in the Military, Bettye knows what it takes to be in constant communication with people and various personalities. Her passion for writing, producing and editing didn’t come easy. She’s worked hard by doing everything it took to accomplish her goals. She’s traveled the rough road and the experience she’s gained in life doesn’t propell her to be in the “front,” Bettye’s desire is to be “the wind beneath someone’s else’s wings,” to help people to become all that they can be. Just to be able to change one person’s life is her greatest joy!
Ordained Prophetic Teacher, Bettye says:
“I am the type of person who has a challenge with “worldly” balance. It is the Holy Spirit and the people that God places in my life that keeps me in balance because I can go to an extreme really quickly! For example, like letting go of everything and everybody and saying it’s just YOU and me God. That’s how much I love God, it’s just how much I covet the things of God. I live, I breathe and I have my being in Jesus. I believe this is why I was created, to serve God with my whole heart, mind, soul and strength and to love my neighbor as myself. For me to love my neighbor as myself is to walk in the gifts, the talents, annointing and ability that God has given me along with His wisdom, knowledge and understanding. It’s not just what I do, it’s who I am! It is my [gift of] prophetic teaching that allows me to help humanity come into the knowledge of who they are in Christ and, what God desires for them to have. It is only by the grace of God that I am who I am because it’s His purpose for me!”
